We are all conscious of the need for English in our society, whether it’s to travel, for our social or work life, etc.

In spite of the obvious need for English, many people do not enjoy it or believe “they’re not cut out” for English.

Sometimes it’s not so much a case of “not being cut out” or disliking the language, but maybe the methods used were inappropriate to teach that specific student.

The objective of EnglishBcn is to make learning English as pleasant, fun and useful as possible. Our team of teachers understands that if students enjoy the lesson they will be more motivated and will learn quicker and with more ease.

We also believe that it is important for the teacher to get to know his or her students well, understanding their needs, making the most of their abilities and minimising their weaknesses.  For this reason, our groups are no more than six people in the case of adults and four when the lessons are for children.

Every student is unique. Because of this, our teaching method adapts itself to every student and his or her needs. Our team of teachers concentrates on their students, getting to know them and using what works best for them.

Therefore, more than a method, EnglishBcn offers a teaching philosophy that can be summed up as follows: to motivate students with personalised and pleasant classes so as to achieve the best possible results in the least possible time.
